'Republic Women' event at WTMGA
Rhythm Workshop, operating under the umbrella of WTMGA, and its Women's Branch organized an event called "Republic Women".
Women from Xanthi showed great interest in the event held at WTMGA Xanthi Cultural Center on Saturday evening, December 9th.
The event started with the opening speech of WTMGA Women's Branch President Şükriye Mehmet. After the speeceh, a video screening titled "Women Who Left Their Mark on the History of the Republic" was presented.
In the last part of the event, WTMGA “Darbuka Rhythm Workshop” members took the stage under the direction of music teacher Gönen Molla and gave the participants an unforgettable evening with a program consisting of Atatürk's favorite folk songs.
Ege Çulha, wife of Deputy Consul Barış Çulha from Türkiye's Consulate General in Komotini, consulate employees, Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform Spokesperson and Xanthi Turkish Union Women's Branch President Zeynur Bargan, Xanthi Mufti Mustafa Trampa's wife Nadire Ömer, Xanthi Deputy Burhan Baran's wife Ayşe Baran, Xanthi Turkish Union President Ozan Ahmetoğlu's wife Münevver Ago, Councilors Union President Ahmet Kara's wife Aşkım Kara, Hanımeli Association President Aylan Küçük, FEP Party Women's Branch representatives and many women attended.
