Xanthi Turkish Union brought women together in Karaçanlar
“Xanthi Turkish Union Women's Meetings” took place this time in the village of Karaçanlar.

The third of the "Women's Meetings" organized by the ITB Women's Branch and ITB courses under the supervision of the Xanthi Turkish Union administration was held in the village of Karaçanlar in Xanthi.
The event, which took place in the mosque room of Karaçanlar village, was attended by ITB Deputy Chairman Sevil Şerifoğlu, Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform Spokesperson and Head of ITB Women's Branch Zeynur Bargan, İskece (Xanthi) Province Turkish Women's Cultural Association President Aysel Sağır, members of ITB Women's Branch, ITB Sewing – Embroidery trainees and women from Karaçanlar participated.
ITB Karacanlar Course Instructor Müjgan Niyazi made the opening speech of the event. In her speech, Müjgan Niyazi thanked everyone who attended the event and expressed her pleasure to host them.
Afterwards, Zeynur Bargan, spokesperson of the Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform and Head of the ITB Women's Branch, thanked everyone who attended the event and expressed that she believed that these events, which they organized together with the Xanthi Turkish Union courses, would be very beneficial for women.
Speaking later, İTB Deputy Chairman Sevil Şerifoğlu also gave information about the series of events "Xanthi Turkish Union Women's Meetings".
Sevil Şerifoğlu said: “As Xanthi Turkish Union, we aim to bring together experts from time to time, in line with their wishes, in order to keep the Turkish culture alive in Western Thrace, as well as to respond to the social needs of our women.
We are in the village of Karacanlar tonight. We are in one of the most important villages of Xanthi. While we are doing these activities, we are also in consultation with other institutions. We will continue such activities. We also thank and congratulate our women who showed us a very warm hospitality in the village of Karacanlar today.”
The speaker guest of the event in Karaçanlar was Gynecology and Obstetrics Specialist Dr. Arzu Sabanoglu. Dr. Şabanoğlu spoke on “Fighting Cancer in Gynecological Diseases”. Dr. Şabanoğlu emphasized the importance of early diagnosis by stating that being late causes death, not cancer, to the women participating in the event.
Giving information about the routine controls of women, Dr. Şabanoğlu warned women not to disrupt their controls. The meeting ended with the question and answer session.
At the end of the event, the food prepared at home by the students of Karacanlar course was served.
