Erdem Hüseyin appoints two more counsellors
Civil Engineer Aydın Başoğlu will advise the mayor on technical services while Serkan Bekir will advise the mayor on public relations, education, environment and health services.
In the statements made by Kozlukebir Municipality, information was given about the two names appointed by the mayor Erdem Hüseyin. The backgrounds of the new counsellors are as follows:
AYDIN BAŞOĞLU
He was born in 1975 in Hemetli village of Komotini. He completed primary school in his village, secondary and high school in Şile 50th Year High School and Yeşilköy 50th Year High School in Istanbul.
After graduating from Konya Selçuk University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Civil Engineering, he returned to Greece and graduated from Thracian Dimokritos University (Δημοκρίτειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θράκης) in Xanthi and was awarded the title of Civil Engineer.
In 2006 he opened his own private office in the city centre of Komotini and in the same year he started to work in Sirkeli Municipality as an advisor to the late Mayor Hasan KAŞİF HAKKI.
At the end of 2010, he participated in the local elections and was elected as a councillor from the list of İbrahim ŞERİF in the municipality of Kozlukebir, which was merged with the Kallikratis Plan, and then he served as Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Kozlukebir in 2011 and 2012.
Aydın Başoğlu is married and has one child.
SERKAN BEKIR
He was born in 1976 in Küçük Müsellim village. After completing primary school in his own village, K. Müsellim Minority Primary School, he completed secondary school at Balıkesir Cumhuriyet High School. He completed his high school education at Kabataş Male High School, one of the distinguished educational institutions in Istanbul. After graduating from Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Science and Literature, Department of Chemistry, he returned to Greece and taught equivalence courses at Aristotelio University in Thessaloniki.
