Warm welcome to winter in Yassıören with a cultural festival
The Yassıören Sports, Culture and Education Association is organizing a “Welcome Winter Cultural Event and Bazaar” on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. in Yassıören.
The annual event has become a cherished tradition, bringing together locals and visitors to celebrate with regional delicacies and cultural activities. Participants will enjoy a pleasant day surrounded by the village’s natural beauty while tasting traditional homemade products.
The bazaar will feature local specialties such as tarhana soup mix, ashure (Noah’s pudding), pickles, pepper and tomato paste, baklava, roasted peppers, and Yassıören pide, along with barbecue dishes and various handcrafted goods.
According to the organizers, the aim of the event is to preserve village culture and strengthen community solidarity. Everyone is invited to join the gathering, where traditional flavors and warm conversations will mark a joyful start to the winter season.
