Temporary traffic restrictions announced in İskeçe for “Night Passport İskeçe” event
According to an announcement by the Chamber, the restrictions will be in effect from 17:00 to 00:30 to ensure the safe organization of the event and the movement of pedestrians.
The traffic measures will apply to several central streets, including:
- 28is Oktovriou Street, from Eleftherias Square to Central Square
- Tsimiski Street, from M. Karaoli Street to K. Beni Street
- M. Karaoli Street, from Tsimiski Street to P. Tsaldari Street
- Ch. Smyrnis Street, from Broukoumi Street to Stathmou Street
The affected roads will remain closed to vehicle traffic during the event and will be reserved exclusively for pedestrians.
Authorities urged drivers to avoid the designated areas during the restriction hours, follow traffic police instructions and temporary road signs, and use alternative routes.
The İskeçe Chamber of Commerce called for public cooperation to ensure the successful and safe organization of the city’s major shopping celebration, inviting residents and visitors to participate in an evening featuring shopping, music, dancing and entertainment.
