The drone system sends high-resolution live footage to the National Crisis Management and Operations Coordination Center and the Regional Operational Center, enabling immediate coordination of intervention forces. Since its trial began, the system has proven effective, detecting and reporting fires in Lefkopetra on July 21, 2024, and Genisea on August 8, 2024.
All drone flights are conducted by specialized and certified pilots according to an approved flight plan, adhering to data protection regulations and aviation safety standards.
