In Komotini, a 21-year-old woman was stabbed in the chest and seriously injured. The condition of the hospitalised woman remains serious.
According to local media reports, the incident occurred late on Thursday, 10 August in the Kalkanca neighbourhood of Komotini. According to the first information, due to domestic violence, the young woman received multiple stab wounds in her chest. At the last moment, the woman managed to go out to the street for help and was taken to Komotini State Hospital with the help of citizens and emergency service teams. It was stated that the health condition of the young woman remains serious.
The alleged perpetrator was arrested and the police investigation is ongoing.
