Robotic coding and chess courses start at Xanthi Central Turkish Minority Primary School.
Parent-Teacher Association President Senemahu Topuz said in a statement to the Minority press, stating that the students showed an extraordinary interest, “Our school is making great progress in every field. There is huge interest. This makes us very happy,” she said.
Robotic coding and chess exercises for primary school children to be held on weekends at school will be coordinated by two teachers who are experts in their fields. Stating that more than 100 enrollments were registered on the first day, Senemahu Topuz, President of the Parent-Teacher Association, said, “The fact that there is a great demand shows the importance of these studies. Our parents and students are extremely satisfied. We hope that these efforts will continue to develop and grow. Our teachers, who are successful in their fields, come to Xanthi from Komotini to be useful to our children. Chess and robotic coding studies, which are indispensable for the future, are now in our school. The fact that there is a great demand shows the importance of this once again. It shows that we are on the right track. I wish it was in all minority schools. Congratulations to all my friends. Thankfully, we achieved what we wanted after hard work.”
