SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras met with visiting Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin on Thursday.
A part from the latest developments in the Ukraine war, said the main opposition party in its announcement, they discussed Finland's defence concerns and its NATO accession prospects. Turkey's aggressive actions were also discussed.
Tsipras underlined that the current geopolitical and energy crises call for a new European energy policy, and also a revision of the EU's Stability & Cohesion Pact.
He also underlined the importance of cooperation among European progressive political forces, while Marin briefed Tsipras on the policies of the Finnish coalition government.
