New logo for Xanthi Hospital
The new logo was emerged through a competition in collaboration with the Department of Architecture of Democritus University of Thrace.
The awards ceremony of the competition for the new logo of the General Hospital of Xanthi took place in the amphitheater of the Hospital on Monday morning.
The logo emerged through a student competition and with the participation of the Department of Architecture of DUTH.
The importance of the project was praised with a short greeting by the Deputy Regional Governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Konstas Kourtidis, the Mayor of Xanthi, Manolis Tsepelis, the manager of the Hospital, Elena Rofaela.
Valuable contribution in difficult times
Prior to the award ceremony for the students who contributed with their work to the creation of the new logo, Ms. Rafaela did not fail to present an award to Mr. Filippos Filippou and Ms. Georgia Koutsoumba for the services they have provided during difficult times in the General Hospital.
The symbols on the new logo were described by the students
The students who participate to the competition talked about the reasoning behind the creation of this logo. They stressed that they were looking for something simple, something that would make it more visible and something that would "communicate" easily with others. They also pointed out that they started their thinking from the shape of the cross drawing inspiration from our city. Finally, they did not fail to find that light blue is inextricably linked to health, but also to the character of our country of course.
