Fuel Pass balance expires on July 31 in Greece
Recipients of Greece's Fuel Pass subsidy have until July 31 to use any remaining balance on their digital prepaid cards, after which unused funds will be returned to the state.
Authorities said that once the deadline passes, the digital cards will be automatically deactivated and no further transactions will be possible.
Subsidy amounts vary by region and payment method
The support amount depends on the type of vehicle, the recipient's location and whether the subsidy was received through a digital card or bank transfer.
For car owners, the subsidy is €60 through a digital card for residents of island regions including the North Aegean, South Aegean, Ionian Islands and Crete, while those receiving a bank transfer received €50. In other areas of Greece, the amounts are €50 via digital card and €40 through bank transfer.
For motorcycle and moped owners, the subsidy ranges from €30 to €35 through digital cards, depending on the region, while bank transfer payments range from €25 to €30.
Authorities are advising all beneficiaries with remaining funds to complete their fuel purchases before the July 31 deadline to avoid losing the unused balance.
