Greece extends fuel pass applications until April 30: Payment details and subsidy amounts
Greece has extended the application window for its Fuel Pass subsidy program until April 30, offering financial relief to citizens for rising fuel costs.
Applications are available through the gov.gr platform using personal tax credentials, while those without digital access can apply via Citizens’ Service Centers (KEP).
Payment Timeline Adjusted for Holidays
Authorities confirmed that payments for new applicants will begin after the Easter holidays. While subsidies are typically processed within 48 hours of application approval, delays are expected due to bank closures on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Payments for applications submitted from Holy Wednesday onward will be issued starting Tuesday after Easter.
How to Apply
Applicants must:
- Log in using TaxisNet credentials,
- Verify their contact details via the National Communication Registry (EMEp),
- Enter their vehicle registration number,
- Choose the payment method.
Beneficiaries can receive the subsidy either:
- Through a digital debit card (Fuel Pass), or
- Via direct bank transfer (IBAN).

For cars:
- €60 for island regions
- €50 for mainland Greece
For motorcycles:
- €35 for island regions
