Xanthi Municipality launches rapid repair project in Karşımahalle, focusing on roads and infrastructure improvements
Xanthi Municipality accelerated repair works in some areas within the city. Cement was poured on some roads and streets in Karşımahalle of Xanthi. Improvements were also made to the retaining walls and embankments between the neighbourhoods.
The works started today (Thursday, 20 July) with the initiatives of Xanthi Deputy Mayors Süha Bekiroğlu and Levent Karaosman and Hüseyin Hüseyinoğlu, a resident of Xanthi Karşımahalle, who announced that he will be a candidate for municipal council member in the elections in October.
The streets and roads where the asphalt and cement on the ground were removed were re-concreted. The points requiring repair were repaired by the municipality teams. In some places, retaining walls and pavements were also repaired.
