Xanthi App: Daily life becomes a collective effort
Xanthi is transforming—not just its streets and public services, but the way its residents engage in shaping everyday life. This change is not only the result of new projects, but of a new mindset—one that sees technology not merely as a tool, but as the foundation of a meaningful and modern relationship between the Municipality and its citizens.
The Xanthi App is the language of this relationship: a daily, direct, and interactive channel between citizens and the Municipality. The app has been fully integrated into municipal services and now serves as a primary tool for reporting, managing, and resolving day-to-day issues. This isn’t just theoretical—it’s happening, and the results speak for themselves.
Between January 1, 2024, and today, a total of 2,255 citizen requests have been submitted. Of these, 2,116 have already been resolved, with an average response time of just six days. Meanwhile, 128 requests are currently in progress, as they involve more complex or long-term processes.
These numbers reflect more than just technical efficiency—they signify a shift in mentality. A relationship of trust, transparency, and collaboration between administration and citizen is taking root. With the Xanthi App in full operation, the city is increasingly placed in the hands of its people.
The app is free to download on Android and iOS via Google Play and App Store. It allows users to:
