Yassıköy Municipality is moving to reopen a former local administration building in Bulatköy as a public service centre, with plans to establish a Citizens’ Service Centre (KEP) to make public services more accessible to local residents.

According to information released by the municipality, the building is being considered for renewed public use. The planned KEP office is intended to help residents of Bulatköy and nearby areas access administrative services more conveniently.

MUNICIPAL COUNCIL APPROVES APPLICATION PROCESS

The municipal council has approved the process of submitting the necessary applications to the relevant ministry to establish the KEP office in the former local administration building.

The project’s next step is to obtain ministerial approval and complete the required procedures. The service point is expected to begin operating once the necessary authorisation has been granted.

AIM TO IMPROVE ACCESS TO PUBLIC SERVICES

The initiative aims to put an existing building back into use while improving residents’ access to public services locally.

If the project proceeds as planned, the new KEP office will provide an additional point of access for residents of Bulatköy and surrounding communities. However, the opening remains subject to the relevant ministry’s approval.
