Gümülcine Turkish Youth Union’s next generation wing holds breakfast gathering
The Next Generation Wing of the Gümülcine Turkish Youth Union held a breakfast gathering on Saturday, 24 October, bringing together young people from Gümülcine (Komotini) and surrounding villages to strengthen communication and discuss future activities.
The event took place at the association’s premises and provided an opportunity for participants to get to know one another, share their expectations and exchange ideas about projects planned for the coming period.
Attendees included Ali Tosun, Türkiye’s Consul General’s Deputy in Gümülcine, and his wife, Emine Tosun, as well as İbrahim Şerif, the mufti of Gümülcine, and numerous young people from the city centre and nearby villages.
Young people discuss future projects
Organised by the Next Generation Wing’s executive board, the gathering gave participants an opportunity to introduce themselves and express their needs, expectations and ideas.
Discussions also focused on potential projects and activities that could be developed under the association’s umbrella in the coming months.
The organisers aimed to strengthen ties among young people and encourage greater communication and cooperation through the association’s activities.
The breakfast gathering forms part of the wing’s efforts to bring young people together and support the development of future initiatives within the local community.
