First place of Xanthi Central Turkish Primary School makes Minority proud
Xanthi Central Turkish Primary School made Xanthi proud by winning the first place in the competition held throughout the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Region.
The Robotics Team of Xanthi Central Turkish Primary School, which participated in the robotics competitions in primary schools throughout the state, came first in the competition. The competition, which included primary schools from the Eastern Macedonia - Thrace Region, was held on Saturday 9 March in Xanthi.
The Robotics Team of Xanthi Central Turkish Minority Primary School, led by Elif Molla, won the first prize with the project they participated in the competition. The champion team won the first prize with the project describing the Mediterranean culture and life.
The students in the Xanthi Robotics Team, which includes primary schools across the province, are as follows: Ali Karadayı, Kerem Ruşen, Eymen Mahmut, Mehmet Hoçka, Mediha Çıtak and Fatma Çıtak.
In a joint statement, the Xanthi Central Turkish Minority Primary School Board of Councillors and the Parent-Teacher Association congratulated the team that won the first prize.
The following statements were made in the statement:
"We said we are betting and we stood behind our promise. Today, our school - our children came first in the Macedonian Thrace Province Robotic Coding Competition held in Xanthi. We congratulate all our children, especially our teacher Elif Molla. We believed and trusted you, and you made us proud by bringing the first place to our school. Here's to many more successes."
Xanthi Central Turkish Minority Primary School qualified to participate in the Robotics Competition between Greek Primary Schools to be held in Athens on 30 - 31 March 2024 as the state winner.
In the same competition, Komotini Idadiye Turkish Primary School won the second prize.
