İskeçe Mufti’s Office opens Quran course registrations

Registration has opened for Quran courses operating under the İskeçe (Xanthi) Mufti’s Office, with children invited to take part in a new educational year focused on Quranic learning, moral values and community.

The İskeçe (Xanthi) Mufti’s Office has announced the opening of registrations for its Quran courses for the new educational year.

In its announcement, the Mufti’s Office said the courses aim to help children learn the Quran while developing values such as good character, friendship, respect, sharing and solidarity.

“We are beginning a new educational period in which our children will grow with good morals, proper values, friendship and an awareness of sharing while learning the Holy Quran,” the statement said.

Education centred on Quranic values
The İskeçe Mufti’s Office invited families to enrol their children in its Quran courses, saying the programmes aim to prepare young people for the future through knowledge, good character and the guidance of the Quran.

The courses are also intended to support children's religious education while helping them develop values including love, respect, mutual assistance and brotherhood.

The Mufti’s Office called on families to include their children in what it described as a meaningful educational journey and said:

“Let us bring our children, who are our future, together with the light of the Quran.”
The announcement also quoted a hadith attributed to the Prophet Muhammad: “The best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.” The reference given is Sahih al-Bukhari, Fada'il al-Quran, 21.

Registrations now open
Registrations for the Quran courses have now officially begun.
