Charity fair organized by Xanthi Mufti's Office

The charity fair, organized by the Xanthi Mufti's Office and the Xanthi Religious Officials' Association, opened on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
The event, which began at 10:00 a.m. at the Çınar Mosque in the Aşağımahalle neighborhood, featured welcome speeches from Ozan Ahmetoğlu, President of the Xanthi Turkish Union, Ahmet Kurt, Mayor of Mustafçova, and New Left MPs Özgür Ferhat and Hüseyin Zeybek.
Turkey’s Consul General in Komotini, Aykut Ünal, also attended the fair, where visitors enjoyed traditional foods such as lahmacun, çiğ köfte, grilled dishes, and local specialties.
Proceeds from the event will be used for student aid and charitable activities carried out by the Xanthi Mufti's Office. The fair will continue until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday.
