Poll shows ND regaining voter support

Greece’s ruling New Democracy (ND) party is showing signs of a steady recovery in public support, according to a new opinion poll published Wednesday by Political newspaper and presented on Ant1 TV.
The center-right party leads with 31.5% of the vote, holding a significant 16.2-point advantage over its nearest rival, PASOK, which polled at 15.3%. In third place is the right-wing, Eurosceptic Greek Solution (Elliniki Lysi), while six smaller parties—three currently outside Parliament—appear above the 3% electoral threshold required for parliamentary representation.
The results suggest ND is regaining ground after months of declining approval ratings, buoyed perhaps by a stabilizing political climate and lack of strong opposition momentum.
Meanwhile, public interest in a potential political comeback by former prime minister Alexis Tsipras appears limited.
Following his recent resignation from Parliament, respondents were asked whether they would vote for a new party founded by Tsipras.
A strong 80% said "no" or "probably no," while only 16% expressed potential support.
