Poll shows New Democracy leading with single-digit advantage over ELAS
Greece's ruling New Democracy (ND) holds a single-digit lead over the Greek Left Alliance (ELAS) in voting intention, according to a new Prorata poll conducted for *Efimerida ton Syntakton*.
The survey places New Democracy first with 25% support, while ELAS ranks second with 15.5%, improving its position compared with the previous month's poll.
The Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK) follows with 8.5%, tied with Hope for Democracy, which recorded the same level of support despite a slight decline from the June survey.
The remaining parties are led by Greek Solution with 7%, followed by the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) at 5.5%, Voice of Reason at 4%, Course of Freedom at 3.5%, and MeRA25 at 3%.
The poll also indicates widespread public dissatisfaction with the country's direction, with seven in ten respondents saying Greece is moving in the wrong direction.
