With 24 days to go before the European Parliament elections, a poll conducted by MRB on behalf of Open TV showed that the ruling New Democracy has gained 13.4 points on SYRIZA, widening the gap compared to the company's previous findings.

When asked who they would vote for, ND received 26.5 per cent, SYRIZA 13.1 per cent and PASOK 11.5 per cent.

The Nationalist Party for the Greek Solution came third with 8.1 per cent.

The Communist Party of Greece KKE (6.6%), New Left (3.1%), Freedom Road (2.8%), Niki (2.4%), Foni Logikis (Voice of Reason) (2.3%), Dimokrates (2%) and MeRA25 (1.8%).

While 60.3% of the respondents stated that they wanted to send a message of dissatisfaction to the NDP by voting, 32.7% said that they would vote because the country needs government stability.

According to the answers to the questions posed, most of the voters evaluate the recent meeting between Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara positively.

On the other hand, he expressed his disagreement with the decision to include the imprisoned ethnic Greek mayor of Albania, Fredi Beleri, in the list of candidates of the YDP.
