The spirit of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day was celebrated with vibrant enthusiasm in Rhodes, as the local Turkish community gathered for a special event highlighting unity, culture, and children’s joy.

The celebration was hosted by the Rhodes Muslims Education, Culture and Brotherhood Association, bringing together families and children for a program filled with performances and activities reflecting the significance of the holiday.

The event drew significant attendance, with children taking center stage in performances and interactive activities designed to honor the meaning of April 23. The celebration underscored the importance of preserving cultural traditions among Turkish communities living abroad.

In a statement shared via social media, the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Rhodes expressed its support and participation in the event, saying:
