Turkish, Greek Pharmacists' Chambers sign “Sister Chamber” protocol in Rhodes
The Chamber of Pharmacists of Muğla (Türkiye) and the Chamber of Pharmacists of the Dodecanese (Greece) have signed a “Sister Chamber” protocol in Rhodes to strengthen international professional solidarity and cooperation in healthcare services.
A Turkish delegation composed of Muğla Chamber President Pharmacist Saim Korkmaz, Burak Söğütlü (Member of the High Disciplinary Board of the Turkish Pharmacists’ Association), and Zehra Ceren Bilen Yatgın (Bodrum District Representative), visited Rhodes for the occasion.
During their visit, the delegation held meetings with Pharmacist Nikos Futulis, President of the Dodecanese Chamber of Pharmacists and a member of the Hellenic Pharmacists' Association Central Board. The discussions focused on fostering friendly relations and exploring opportunities for joint projects between the two organizations.
The Turkish delegation also met with Kiriakos Kasapis, President of the Rhodes Municipal Council, and Salim Kırcaali, the Consul General of Türkiye in Rhodes, to provide information about the protocol and evaluate prospects for regional cooperation.
The signing ceremony was attended by Deputy Mayors of Rhodes Yorgos Pattas and Nikos Hacikalimeris, as well as Behice Sellavci, President of the Association for Muslim Culture, Education and Brotherhood in Rhodes.
The agreement aims to facilitate mutual exchange of knowledge and expertise, and to implement collaborative projects that will contribute to enhancing the quality of healthcare services in both countries.
