Tomorrow is the last day for Vegetable Producers to Submit Damage Reports!

Farmers who have not yet reported their losses to the authorities have until Wednesday, August 14, 2024, to do so. Failure to report by the deadline will result in the loss of eligibility for financial compensation from the Hellenic Agricultural Insurance Organization (ELGA).

Kalfa Village Head, Mehmet Osman, issued a statement urging vegetable producers in the Kalfa region to file their reports before the deadline. In his announcement, he emphasized the importance of timely reporting, stating, "Farmers growing crops such as potatoes, peppers, eggplants, okra, beans, chickpeas, watermelons, and melons must report their damages caused by heat and drought to the ELGA officers at their respective municipalities by Wednesday, 14/08/2024. Wednesday is the final day."

This reminder from the Kalfa Village Head applies to all vegetable producers in the Rodopi region. The deadline is Wednesday, August 14.
