Staikuras - Tapatzas meeting in Komotini
Manolis Tapatzas, Vice-President of the Rhodope Province, met with the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Christos Staikuras.
Tapacas and Staikuras met today (Saturday 11 May) regarding the projects in the Rhodope province. Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, Tapacas stated that many projects will be implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
Hristos Staikuras stated that he will visit the Province of Eastern Macedonia - Thrace again in the coming period and gave information about the completion of the Yassıhöyük Dam, the works related to the Kuruçay Dam, the status of the old courthouse building in Komotini and the works on the organisation of the motorway between Yassıköy and Yalımlı.
The meeting with Staikuras was attended by Manolis Tapacas, Deputy Head of State for Rhodope Province, Nikolaos Efkarpidis, Deputy Head of State, Panayotis Halvacis, Secretary of State, Rıdvan Hacı Mehmet, Deputy Head of State for Agriculture and Livestock, Rıdvan Molla İsa, Advisor to the Head of State, Ahmet Osman Pehlivan, Member of the State Assembly and Hrisa Çilingiri, Head of Technical Projects Department.
After the end of the meeting, the Vice-President Tapacas presented the album of the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Thrace and souvenirs of the Rhodope region to the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Staikuras.
