Signature campaign launched for the Sinikova–Sünnetçiköy road
The initiative comes as the Sinikova region faces the threat of depopulation due to both internal and external migration. In an effort to revitalize the area and improve accessibility, the Sinikova Local Council President, Ali Avcı, together with village residents, announced plans to begin collecting signatures for the road’s asphalting.
In a statement published on his personal social media account, Ali Avcı declared that the campaign would officially begin on Friday, November 7, and continue until December 31. The campaign is open not only to Sinikova residents but also to all local citizens who wish to support the initiative.
The collected signatures will later be presented to the relevant authorities by a delegation led by Ali Avcı.
In his written statement, Avcı said:
“Dear Residents,
We wish to bring forward once again the issue of asphalting the Sünnetçiköy–Sinikova road, which is of great importance for our village’s transportation. We are aware that realizing this long-standing demand will not be easy, but we believe that by acting together, our voices can be heard more strongly.
Your support is of great importance for this step we will take toward the development and common interest of our village. Therefore, we need to collect your signatures in order to convey this matter to the authorities.
This Friday, after the Friday prayer, an assigned friend will be present at our village mosques to collect your names, surnames, and signatures. Your participation and support will greatly contribute to turning our shared wish into reality.
