GAT organises environmental clean-up as part of “12 Months, 12 Acts of Happiness” project
The Young Academics Association (GAT) organised an environmental clean-up in October as part of its “12 Months, 12 Acts of Happiness” project, aiming to raise awareness of environmental pollution and encourage greater responsibility for protecting nature.
During the activity, association members collected litter from the surrounding area, contributing to a cleaner and more liveable environment. The initiative also sought to highlight the role individuals can play in protecting the natural world.
RAISING ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
The association emphasised that keeping the environment clean is a shared responsibility that extends beyond the present generation and affects the well-being of future generations.
GAT also highlighted how small individual actions can contribute to wider positive change, encouraging people to take an active role in protecting their surroundings.
MONTHLY INITIATIVES FOR SOCIAL AWARENESS
The “12 Months, 12 Acts of Happiness” project aims to promote social awareness through a different act of goodwill each month.
Under the motto “A different good deed every month, a better future with every step,” GAT plans to continue organising activities in the coming months to encourage community participation and promote positive social change.
