Schools that collect the most recyclable materials to be rewarded
The Municipality of Komotini, within the framework of the recycling platform Followgreen, organises competitions between schools for the collection of recyclable materials.
The municipal administration will award the winners of this year's competition for the collection of recyclable materials.
The winners will be awarded at a ceremony on Tuesday 23 May 2023. Various activities will be organised for the students during the ceremony which will start at 11.00 am.
At the end of the activities to be held with the participation of the members of the East - West Greece Platform and the Youth and Volunteering Centre "Exagono" of the Municipality of Komotini, the winning schools will be awarded.
For the competition organised for the 4th time by the Municipality, students competed by collecting 5 different recyclable materials such as (paper, plastic, aluminium, batteries and (biological waste) cooking oil).
The Municipality of Komotini, through the inter-school competition, aims to help children learn how to properly recycle the materials they already have at home.
At the award ceremony, all participants will receive certificates and the winning schools will receive prizes and gifts.
