WTMUGA supports blue cap recycling campaign for disability assistance
The Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association (WTMUGA) has expressed support for a blue plastic cap collection campaign organized by the İskeçe Association of People with Disabilities.
The initiative, carried out under the slogan “We collect caps, we distribute hope and happiness,” aims to support people in need through the recycling of plastic caps.
As part of the campaign, WTMUGA handed over a large quantity of collected caps that had been gathered over the past year at the İskeçe Cultural Center.
The handover took place on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the entrance of the İskeçe Open Amphitheatre, where the collected materials were delivered to representatives of the Disability Association.
The campaign continues to encourage public participation as a grassroots solidarity initiative in the region.
