Rhodope Trade Association pay visit to Mayor of Komotini
The Board of Directors of the Komotini Trade Association visited the Mayor of Komotini Yannis Garanis in his office on Tuesday 19 March.
During the visit, the President of the Trade Association Kiki Konstantinidou and the members of the Board of Directors informed the Mayor about the outreach activities planned on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Association and expressed their mutual ideas and thoughts.
Explaining that there are also artistic activities and a conference, the officials requested help from the Municipality of Komotini for the activities to be organised. The meeting took place in a good atmosphere and the mayor's response to the request of the association executives was positive.
Due to the growing interest in Komotini, President Garanis spoke to representatives of the business community about the important projects implemented in the historical centre of the city.
Explaining that these works are being carried out on certain commercial streets and that their appearance and functionality will increase, the mayor asked the citizens to be understanding and help the municipality as long as the works continue.
The two sides agreed on more frequent communication, agreeing that strength comes from unity.
