During the meeting, the Medical Association presidents presented a number of important demands, including:

Governor Topsidis highlighted the administration's ongoing investment in the regional healthcare system, stating:
“Our administration is actively supporting the health sector by allocating significant financial resources to upgrade medical equipment and improve healthcare infrastructure across our region. Most recently, in April 2025, we announced a €20 million funding package under the ‘Eastern Macedonia–Thrace 2021–2027’ Regional Program aimed at enhancing primary and secondary healthcare facilities and equipment.”
He assured that all demands would be thoroughly reviewed, emphasizing the importance of bolstering healthcare services in areas with the greatest need. The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to maintain cooperation and coordination for the benefit of the region’s residents.
