Regional Governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace meets with the ThesBerlin Network
The Eastern Macedonia and Thrace (EMT) region is planning a global music meeting with the support of the ThesBerlin network, which promotes the exchange of expertise between Greece and Berlin. Members of the ThesBerlin network, focusing on cultural and creative economy exchanges between Northern Greece and the state of Berlin, met today with the regional governor of EMT, Christodoulos Topsidis.
During his address, Mr. Topsidis highlighted the unique developmental prospects of the EMT region, emphasizing its strategic position as a transport and energy hub, as well as its role as a significant cultural and tourist pole.
The discussion centered on the potential collaboration between the ThesBerlin network and the EMT region, primarily aimed at organizing a global music meeting and transferring expertise for similar events. Mr. Topsidis expressed a positive attitude towards a possible collaboration, with specific issues expected to be explored in a future meeting.
The meeting also included the Regional Deputy for Culture, Fani Bacharidou, reinforcing the region's commitment to supporting cultural initiatives and collaborations.
