MP Baran characterizes the Turkish flag at Iftar as provocative

KINAL Xanth MP Burhan Baran described the placement of the Turkish flag at Iftar as a provocative act, who in a statement after the incident pointed out that he left as soon as he realized it.
In detail, Mr. Baran states: "In the context of the religious Muslim holiday of Ramadan, I attended on Thursday after an invitation to Iftar, the dinner that is traditionally given.
The invitation was from the Municipality of Yildirim of Bursa-Turkiye and during the dinner as shown in the photo, which I quote, there is no flag of the neighbouring country.
This happened suddenly, as the associates of my political office in Xanthi who were present informed me afterwards, at the end of the prayer without any information from me about such an action. After the incident, I even left.
My career as a Member of the Greek Parliament so far has proved that I do my best to be a helper of our harmony and peaceful coexistence in Xanthi.
I will not allow provocative actions aimed only at damaging my prestige and my political career in the light of deceit and racist prejudice against me and the party I represent."
