Erdem Hüseyin Presents regional priorities to Deputy Regional Governor Tapatzas
During the meeting, Mayor Erdem Hüseyin had the opportunity to directly present the region’s priority problems to Tapatzas.
The main topics discussed in the meeting were as follows:
Regulation of the only Irish bridge between Kozlukebir and Sirkeli, including directing the water flow underneath the road. This is a project worth approximately €1,400,000, and it is currently at the tender stage.
In the Üşekdere village, a spring water project to bring drinking water from approximately 10 km away, with a request for the Regional Administration to cover the cost of the water pipes (around €20,000). The labor and construction of the new line will be covered by the Municipal Administration.
The opening of a second chance school (middle school) in the village of Hemetli.
Construction of a small irrigation pond around the village of Hacıköy. This project is also at the tender stage.
Lastly, discussions are ongoing regarding the location selection for a large irrigation reservoir to be built in the region.
