Kozlukebir Municipality calls for immediate repairs to regional road network
The Municipality of Arriana has formally requested the immediate rehabilitation of parts of the regional road network connecting the Municipal Units of Kechros and Organi.
Municipal officials warned that the current condition of several road sections has created significant challenges for residents, businesses and public services operating in the area. The municipality stressed that deteriorating infrastructure poses risks to road safety and hampers daily transportation.
In its appeal, the local administration urged regional authorities to prioritize maintenance and reconstruction works, arguing that improved road infrastructure is essential for economic activity, public services and quality of life in the municipality.
The request comes amid broader discussions regarding infrastructure investment and regional development in remote areas of Western Thrace, where transportation links remain a key concern for local communities.
