Deputy British Ambassador to Greece pays courtesy visit to Komotini Mayor

Susan Geary, Deputy British Ambassador to Greece, visited Mayor Garanis of Komotini in his office today.
Deputy Ambassador Susan Geary visited the Municipality of Komotini today in the morning hours and met with the Mayor Yannis Garanis. During the meeting the relations between the two countries were discussed.
In addition, Mayor Garanis informed the Deputy Ambassador about the cultural identity of the region, its beautiful natural environment, landscapes and rich local gastronomy.
At the end of the visit, the parties presented gifts to each other.
