BTAYTD’s Miracle Theatre organizes educational cultural trip to Çanakkale
The Miracle Theatre, operating under the umbrella of the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association (BTAYTD), organized a one-day cultural and educational trip to Çanakkale on Saturday, June 13, bringing together primary school students and their parents for a journey through history.
Accompanied by a professional guide, participants visited some of the most significant historical sites associated with the Gallipoli Campaign and the legacy of the First World War.
As part of the program, the group toured the Çanakkale Martyrs’ Memorials, where students and parents had the opportunity to learn about the historical events that shaped the region and pay tribute to those who lost their lives. The visit also included a stop at the iconic Martyrs’ Memorial, one of the most recognizable landmarks of Çanakkale.
Organizers described the trip as an opportunity for younger generations to connect with history firsthand while strengthening cultural awareness and collective memory.
The cultural program continued with visits to the historic Aynalı Çarşı and the Çanakkale Naval Museum. Participants explored exhibits highlighting the city’s rich historical heritage and maritime history, gaining a deeper understanding of one of Türkiye’s most significant historical regions.
The excursion concluded with participants returning home with meaningful experiences and lasting memories from a day dedicated to history, culture and education.
