US Consul General in Thessaloniki Ismail visits Topsidis
Within the framework of his two-day visit to the region, Consul General Ismail met with the President of the Region Topsidis at the old Governor's Office in Dedeagac.
The American Archonosolsa Topidis, who made his first official visit to the region, gave information about the advantages and development opportunities of the region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
US Consul General Ismail expressed his positive impressions from his visit. Ismail showed great interest in the works carried out to eliminate the material damages caused by the great fire that occurred in the region in August 2023.
In their brief statements to the journalists after the meeting, Topsidis-Ismail said that all relations between Greece and the USA are good. Topsidis thanked the US diplomat for the visit.
Vangelis Poulilios, Vice President of the Evros Prefecture of the Region of Eastern Macedonian Thrace, was also present at the meeting.
