SYRIZA faces parliamentary exclusion according to new poll – party reacts fiercely
In a striking shift in Greece's political landscape, the latest poll conducted by Interview reveals that SYRIZA, once the main opposition party, has fallen below the 3% electoral threshold, putting its parliamentary presence at risk for the first time in its history.
🔻 SYRIZA Support Drops to 2.9%
According to the poll:
- New Democracy (ND) leads with 25.9%
- PASOK follows with 12%
- SYRIZA receives only 2.9%, below the 3% minimum required to enter Parliament.
Under the leadership of Sokratis Famellos, SYRIZA's plummeting popularity has sparked alarm within the party ranks and prompted a strong denunciation of the poll results.

🗣️ SYRIZA Statement: “An Affront to Democracy”
SYRIZA strongly rejected the findings, calling the survey "fake and completely unreliable." The party accused the poll of serving as a tool for manipulating public opinion and called on the Hellenic Association of Opinion Poll Companies (SEDEA) to intervene.
Their statement claimed such practices do not merely undermine SYRIZA but constitute a direct attack on democracy itself.
📈 Mitsotakis Still Trusted
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis remains the most trusted political leader, with 31.7% of respondents expressing confidence in him.
