In a striking shift in Greece's political landscape, the latest poll conducted by Interview reveals that SYRIZA, once the main opposition party, has fallen below the 3% electoral threshold, putting its parliamentary presence at risk for the first time in its history.

🔻 SYRIZA Support Drops to 2.9%
According to the poll:

  • New Democracy (ND) leads with 25.9%
  • PASOK follows with 12%
  • SYRIZA receives only 2.9%, below the 3% minimum required to enter Parliament.

Under the leadership of Sokratis Famellos, SYRIZA's plummeting popularity has sparked alarm within the party ranks and prompted a strong denunciation of the poll results.

🗳️ Current Party Support Overview:

  • Freedom Route – 8.5%
  • Greek Solution – 7%
  • Communist Party of Greece (KKE) – 6.5%
  • Democracy Movement – 4%
  • MeRA25 & Voice of Reason – 3.5%
  • Victory Party – 2%
  • New Left – 1.7%
  • Undecided Voters – 16.7%

🗣️ SYRIZA Statement: “An Affront to Democracy”
SYRIZA strongly rejected the findings, calling the survey "fake and completely unreliable." The party accused the poll of serving as a tool for manipulating public opinion and called on the Hellenic Association of Opinion Poll Companies (SEDEA) to intervene.

Their statement claimed such practices do not merely undermine SYRIZA but constitute a direct attack on democracy itself.

📈 Mitsotakis Still Trusted
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis remains the most trusted political leader, with 31.7% of respondents expressing confidence in him.

PASOK leader Nikos Androulakis: 10%

Zoi Konstantopoulou (Freedom Route): 7.3%

Greek Public on Türkiye: Diplomacy + Deterrence
The poll also sheds light on public opinion regarding foreign policy:

  • 50% support a dual approach of strong deterrence combined with transparent diplomacy toward Türkiye.
  • 36% believe no concessions should be made under any circumstances.

Iran Viewed with Suspicion
When asked about Iran:

  • 54% of respondents see the country as a threat to international peace, reflecting ongoing skepticism in Greek public opinion.
