In a statement released on SYRIZA’s social media channels, the party highlighted that the attack took place during morning prayers, stating, "The Netanyahu government's genocide in Gaza continues."

The statement emphasized that attacks on civilian targets have become an almost daily occurrence and called for Greece and the Greek Cypriot Administration to take initiative to stop these attacks completely.

"Turning a blind eye to the massacre of innocent people is to become an accomplice to the crime," the statement declared.

The Israeli military recently carried out an attack on the Et-Tabiin School in the Derec neighborhood of eastern Gaza, where thousands of displaced people had taken refuge. The attack occurred during morning prayers, resulting in at least 100 deaths and numerous injuries. Local sources reported that the bodies were dismembered and burned, making it difficult for civil defense teams to collect the remains.
