Ruling New Democracy continues to hold a double-digit lead over the other parties, having a 16.3-point advantage over second-place PASOK, according to a new Opinion Poll survey published on Monday and conducted on behalf of Action24 TV.
The poll shows the New Democracy party receiving 30.1% of the vote, with PASOK at 13.8%.
The far-right Hellenic Solution follows with 11.1%, while Course of Freedom is close behind at 10.9%. The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) registers 7.6%, while both SYRIZA and the far-right Voice of Reason stand at 4.5% each.
The survey was released amid reports that former SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras may launch a new political party, a development that could reshape Greece’s political landscape, particularly on the left.
