Rain and thunderstorms coming
The Directorate of Meteorology announced that the country will be under the influence of rainy weather starting from the evening (27 November Monday).
The precipitation that will start in the west of the country this evening will spread across the country tomorrow (Tuesday, 28 November). Precipitation is expected to be intense especially in the western parts of the country, Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and North Aegean. In addition to the precipitation, strong storm will be effective especially on the islands. Snowfall will be seen in high areas.
Precipitation will be effective in Western Thrace starting from the morning hours until the evening hours tomorrow (Tuesday, 28 November).
TEMPERATURES DROPPED BELOW ZERO IN MANY REGIONS
According to Meteo.gr, temperatures dropped below zero in 167 regions across the country this morning (Monday 27 November). Due to the unfavourable weather conditions that affected the country last weekend and caused the first snowfall of the year in the high regions, icing occurred this morning, especially in the northern regions of the country.
