Ruling New Democracy (ND) has recorded a modest increase in public support, according to a new Pulse poll conducted for Skai, with respondents citing the government’s energy initiatives and strengthened cooperation with the United States as key factors.

ND rose by 0.5 percentage points, reaching 24.5% and maintaining a double-digit lead over PASOK, which also saw a small uptick to 11.5%.

Support for most opposition parties remained largely unchanged. Greek Solution held steady at 8%, while both Course of Freedom and the Communist Party (KKE) remained at 7%. SYRIZA stayed at 5.5%, and MeRA25 edged upward to 3%.

Among smaller parties, Niki, New Left, and the Movement for Democracy remained stable at 2%, while the Spartiates increased slightly to 1.5%.

The poll also highlighted an 18% “gray zone” of undecided voters.

Agricultural concerns emerged as the government’s most significant challenge: 56% of respondents pointed to delays at OPEKEPE, while 15% cited slow payments of agricultural subsidies.

The prospect of new political parties formed by former prime ministers also drew notable interest.

Former SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras saw a 3-point increase in positive sentiment, with 14% viewing the idea of a new party favorably and up to 24% saying they might support it.

Former New Democracy prime minister Antonis Samaras also gained ground, with 6% expressing a positive view and 10% indicating interest, raising his potential support to 16%.
