Mitsotakis: "Elections in 2027"

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in his speech at the Parliament regarding the motion of no confidence against the government, stated that the elections would be held in 2027.
Mitsotakis began his speech by apologizing for the insult directed at Freedom Movement Party leader Zoi Konstantopoulou by Dimitris Kyriazidis, who had been expelled from his parliamentary group.
The Prime Minister also acknowledged that it was difficult to convince people that the events in Tempi were not covered up but stated that these words would be judged by the public. Addressing the government's responsibilities, Mitsotakis accused four parties of using the motion of no confidence to attempt to overthrow the government without presenting any alternative proposals.
Finally, Mitsotakis affirmed that the elections would take place in 2027. His statements were interpreted in political circles as closing the door on any early election scenarios.
