Kalpakis: PM Mitsotakis is living on another planet
"The region of Evros is burning for 16th consecutive day with victims and over 93.500 hectares being already burned and with an uncalculated environmental disaster in the forest of Dadia and (Prime Minister) Kyriakos Mitsotakis is living on another planet", stated main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance spokesperson Stergios Kalpakis on Sunday.
Kalpakis said that "instead of apologising for his huge responsibilities he started again the merry posts on social media to tell us that more or less all went fine". The main opposition spokesperson said that either Mitsotakis has not realised what is happening in the country all these days and which will be the repercussions of the disaster in the future or is simply trying to persuade us that the disaster is the new normality".
