Improving conditions bring warmer weather after days of storms
December opens with generally fine weather across most of Greece, while light showers are expected in parts of the Eastern Aegean. Winds will blow from the west–northwest at 3–5 Beaufort. Localized fog and reduced visibility are likely during the early morning and evening hours.
According to Meteo.gr, on Monday, 1 December, scattered light rain will occur over the Eastern Aegean islands and the Dodecanese. The rest of the country will see very good weather conditions, with fog forming locally at the start and end of the day.
Temperatures will range from:
• –3 to 10°C in Western Macedonia
• 1 to 12–14°C in the rest of Macedonia and Thrace
• 5 to 16–17°C in Thessaly
• 5 to 15°C in Epirus
• 5 to 16–18°C in other mainland areas
• 7 to 15–16°C in the Ionian Islands
• 7 to 18–20°C in the Aegean islands and Crete
Winds in the Aegean will be westerly at 3–5 Beaufort, while the Ionian will see light, variable winds.
Attica: Sunny with westerly winds at 3–4 Beaufort. Temperatures from 11 to 17–18°C.
Thessaloniki: Sunny with northwesterly winds up to 4 Beaufort. Morning and evening fog expected. Temperatures from 6 to 13°C.
