Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis, speaking at the "Support for the People and Sovereignty of Lebanon" conference in Paris, emphasized the severity of the humanitarian crisis in Lebanon. He pointed out that Lebanon’s crisis is exacerbated by the presence of tens of thousands of displaced migrants, adding that the situation risks worsening further.
Noting that more than one million people have been displaced from their homes, Gerapetritis described the issue as a “massive humanitarian crisis” that needs urgent attention. He called for increased international humanitarian assistance to support Lebanon and alleviate the escalating crisis.
