Child benefit: When will the first instalment be paid?

The payment of the first instalment of Child Benefit will be paid to the beneficiaries on Friday, 29 March.
The child benefit to be paid on Friday 29 March relates to applications submitted up to 11 March, when the platform was closed.
With the closure of the platform, the processing and approval of the payment for the first two months of 2024 began.
According to OPEKA, after 29 March the platform will reopen for new applications.
In the applications made after the first instalment is paid, it will be paid retrospectively to the beneficiaries.
