Body found in Greece may belong to missing businessman from Denizli

Yasin Cinkaya, a businessman from Denizli who went to sea with a boat from Didim district of Aydın on 13 December, was not heard from again. The boat was found circling around itself on autopilot off the coast of Didim, and a search and rescue operation was launched for the missing Cinkaya.
INTERPOL was informed by the Greek authorities that a male body was found on the coast of Samos Island on 17 December.
Upon this, Yasin Cinkaya's photograph was shared with the authorities in Samos, and according to the first determinations, it was evaluated that the body could belong to Cinkaya.
HIS BROTHER WILL GO TO SAMOS
It is learned that Yavuz Cinkaya, brother of Yasin Cinkaya, whose DNA sample was taken at Izmir Forensic Medicine Institution, will go to Samos from Kuşadası on Monday for the identification of the body.
SAILED ON 13 DECEMBER
The boat of Yasin Cinkaya, a businessman from Denizli, was found by fishermen near Eşek Island on the morning of 14 December. Coast Guard teams, who went to the region upon being notified, pulled the boat, which contained personal belongings such as phones and wallets belonging to Cinkaya, to the shore. A search was launched for Cinkaya, who had sailed from Didim district on 13 December and was reported to have last spoken to his relatives by phone around 19.00 in the evening on the same day.
